Designed by former Ryder Cup Captain John Jacobs and opened in 1982, the Hoebridge Course is well laid out with plenty of interest. The Course is a Par 72 and measures some 6536 yards from the white tees. The 5th hole requires a bit of thought – a dogleg par 4 with the second shot being played to a sloped green protected by tall fir trees. From the 5th green players can enjoy some of the most spectacular views over the scenic Surrey Downs. Other great holes include the 7th where a poor second shot could leave you in a deep chasm short of the green, and the par five 17th that is guaranteed to test the stamina of every golfer.
